IMPORTING MEDIA
The only complicated part about SundayPlus is importing your media. Since SundayPlus was created in Director, the import window was created from scratch, and in this case, the Mac version is the same as its windows counterpart. And I do mean the same. If you’re a die hard Mac user you’ll hate the import window. Even the icons are from Windows. The interface is not very intuitive and it’s NOT a standard Mac interface. Once you get used to it, it works fine, but if you’re fast with the Mac, this will slow you down. I’m hoping that in their next version they’ll make it at least LOOK like a Mac screen.

Clicking on the Song Bin , Image Bin , or Movie Bin buttons brings up a small menu allowng you to load your media. One nice feature is that you can import all types of media at the same time-SundayPlus will put the media where it belongs automatically. It doesn't matter which button you started from, you can still get all your media in one stop. This is a REAL time saver. There is also a handy preview window so you can at least SEE what you are importing.

You can import:
Songs (text files with a .ptf tag)
Regular Text/Notes (usually with a .txt or .rtf tag)
Stills (png, jpeg, tiff, and pict files)
Video (QuickTime, QTVR, DV, Mpeg1, AVI, and Flash)

SundayPlus also comes with a little program called the Transmogrifier. This handy tool will convert things like downloaded song files from the new CCLI SongSelect Online. It works as advertised, as long as you change the name of the file to include .txt at the end. Otherwise the import window won’t see it.

NOTE: there is one other way to import media, and once you try it, you may never use the import window again. It's not in the manual, but if you switch back to the Finder/Desktop you can drag any number of different media types ONTO the SundayPlus icon (or even an alias of it) and the program will drop your media into the correct bins. I tried this with a Dock program I use to launch programs from called A-Dock and it works beautifully. I would imagine it would work with other dock type programs too, allowing you to not have to find the real SundayPlus icon buried on your hard drive. I only wish you could drag and drop right into the bins, but you can't (at least not yet).

Okay, once you are done importing, SundayPlus sees what kind of files you imported and puts each one in the correct Bin.
